“Therefore an overseer must be . . . hospitable” 1 Timothy 3:2
We live and lead in a world that is more connected than ever through social media and never more alienated from true relationship.
It is increasingly more difficult to lead others into to team or true community.
The idea behind being hospitable is to create space for others to be at home.
A hospitable person is one who is fond of guests.
Do you create space for the new person on the team to feel included?
Do you create space for the person that is ethnically different than you in such a way that they feel less uncomfortable?
Do you create space for a new opinions and ideas?
Do you create space for the contrarian point of view?
Do you create space?
That is what a good leader does!
Are you a hospitable leader?
